CP3 Showcase Camp

Hosted by Ultimate Strike Zone and Saginaw Heritage High School

UPDATE 8/27/20 - we are hoping to bring campus back in 2023!

The CP3 Showcase camp is right around the corner. We are all excited to have you at our premier showcase. The Itinerary is attached, and the registration information is below:

9:00am Registration begins.

There will be two tables set up between the fields:

Table A will be Last name A-L

Table B will be Last Name M-Z

You will receive a T-shirt with a number and team color. You will then find you team coach and go to that location.

9:30am will be a short introduction and then the Cardinal Prospect Plus Showcase camp will officially begin.

9:40am Coach Jaksa Head Coach will have a session with the parents who are in attendance. It is a great opportunity to have a dialogue regarding baseball recruiting and he will offer his thoughts on any topic you would like.  We will keep social distance and be in the open area between the two fields at the complex.

After you review the attached itinerary if you have any questions please let me know. We are looking forward to working with you.

UPDATE 8/26/20

On behalf of the Ultimate Strike Zone welcome to the Cardinal Prospect Plus Performance Showcase Camp (CP3). This is the first of two emails that you will receive with information regarding the CP3. Here are some important things to know about this weekends camp.

Let’s start with how we will be conducting our protocol regarding Covid-19:

-We are asking each participant to self-evaluate how they feel before they come to camp.  If the participant is feeling well and does not have any COVID-19 symptom as described by the CDC we look forward to seeing you at camp.

-This is basically how this has been handled through summer baseball and we feel this is the best way to proceed to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

-Masks are optional for the participants and coaches during games and drills.

-Spectators are allowed at Showcase, but please follow social distance/outdoor guidelines.

The Cardinal Prospect Plus Performance (CP3) Showcase Camp is an opportunity for junior and senior baseball players (maximum of 25 sophomores can also attend) to join with other athletes in controlled and competitive scrimmages and events. Players will be split up into teams, each coached by a different collegiate coach and current SVSU players. Campers will play live games each day, take part in on field batting practice, and participate in various position specific drills led by SVSU coaches and players, and the other college coaches in attendance. Campers will also have the opportunity to take part in traditional showcase style events like the 60-yard dash, infield and outfield arm strength, and pop times in order to capture all of their measurables in both controlled and live game settings. This elite prospect event is a great opportunity to gain exposure in front of the Saginaw Valley State University baseball staff, and several other coaches from various levels of collegiate baseball.
